Date Energy Balls

Ingredients :

  • 200 g dates (pitted)
  • 50 g oat flakes
  • 30 g almonds
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder (optional)

Preparation :

  1. Grind dates in a blender.
  2. Add oats, almonds and chia seeds.
  3. Stir in peanut butter and cocoa powder.
  4. Form small balls from the mixture.
  5. Allow to set in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

Date smoothie

Ingredients :

  • 5 dates (pitted)
  • 1 banana
  • 250 ml almond milk (or another milk alternative)
  • 1 tbsp linseed
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 handful of spinach (optional)

Preparation :

  1. Soak dates in almond milk (for a softer consistency).
  2. Put all ingredients in the blender and puree well.
  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Benefits : The smoothie is rich in natural sugars, fiber and vitamins, making it a great pre-workout snack.
